I was graciously treated to a stay at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. All opinions are my own.

If you are considering a family vacation in Jamaica, the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa needs to be on your short list. This all inclusive resort on the Jamaican north coast boasts stunning scenery that creates a backdrop to the soothing sounds of the ocean. It hosts 516 rooms that are divided into 13 villas, each with 6 one-bedroom suites and 30 junior suites. The resort has a modern and luxurious design that breathes relaxation.
It is perfection for the adults who visit, but what about the kids? The resort was built with families in mind, so there is no shortage of fun for the children. Here are some of the top reasons your kids will want to visit.

The resort boasts a pool so large that the kids can swim and play without interfering with other guests. Nearby the kids can play in the splash pad or go down the waterslides, while Mom and Dad relax on loungers under umbrellas. Kids love to stand in just the right spot to get a huge bucket of water dumped on their heads, or maybe just one their siblings’ heads. The kids will really get excited when the ice cream cart shows up and serves them ice cream cones poolside.

Sand castles and snorkeling are great family beach activities. There is a reef to snorkel over without being in really deep water. Hobbie-cats, kayaks, wind surfing boards and paddle boats are also available for use at the beach.

Little athletes will appreciate the variety of sports activities available at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. The pro-soccer field is nicely done, and the kids can have fun shooting hoops at the basketball court. There are also three tennis courts and a mini-golf facility available. The kids can test their archery skills too!

Every à la carte restaurant offers children’s menus that list popular items like cheeseburgers and chicken fingers. The buffet restaurants also feature kid-friendly choices along with their huge variety of options that may encourage the kids to try new things. If the kids are feeling a little tired, they can enjoy room service in their suite.

When the kids need a break from mom and dad, they can escape to the baby club, the kids club or the teen club. Each club is supervised and they provide fun activities, games and entertainment.

While the spa may seem like an adult activity, it is a sweet escape for a mother and daughter mani/ pedi. There is hair braiding services available at the spa as well, if you or your little one wants to enjoy an island hairstyle.

The Palladium Resorts have their own special character breakfast, disco party and show with Raggs and Friends. The kids and parents get to play and dance with Raggs too!

At the end of each day that has been packed full of fun, the family can enjoy a picture-perfect sunset before heading off to the villa for a good night’s sleep. The only problem comes when it’s time to check out, because no one will want to leave.
