Today I will arrive at Beaches Turks and Caicos for the Social Media on the Sand Conference. It is my third time attending the conference, and second time going to Beaches Turks and Caicos so I know that the days to come will be filled with knowledge and fun. Here are some things that I’m really looking forward to over the next few days.

Beaches Turks and Caicos really is a little piece of paradise. The tropical gardens, the sound of the ocean, the smell of salt water in the air… it is an ideal location to escape to and unwind.

Italian Village room

The suite I stayed in on my last visit was in the Italian Village and it was incredible. Five of us traveled together on that visit and we had plenty of room for everyone. A separate bedroom for the kids featured a bunk bed with a trundle underneath, and the adult sleeping area had a king size bed with a perfectly soft mattress.

The Food

I could talk about the food at Beaches Turks and Caicos forever and it’s likely that I will be writing more about it in the weeks to come. There are so many different restaurants to choose from that I know we won’t get to experience them all but I will be making sure I visit the Jerk Shack from some jerk chicken and I will definitely not miss getting a fresh pizza from a wood burning oven.

Red Lane Spa

The Red Lane Spa has a pleasantly fragrant line of products and many accommodating staff on hand to book your massage, facial, pedicure or whatever spa service you want. I am looking forward to a Lymphatic Facial Massage this week!

The Beach

Turks and Caicos have some beautiful beaches and the one at Beaches is no exception. It’s a great place to go snorkeling or take advantage of the water activities the resort offers.

The Pool

The main pool at Beaches Turks and Caicos is huge and has a big swim-up bar for guests to enjoy their drinks while in the pool. I’m traveling without children this time so I probably won’t spend a lot of time at the Pirates Island Waterpark, but I will be popping in to see what has changed since our last visit.

The great thing about the Social Media on the Sand conference is the perfect blend of learning and relaxing. The guest speakers are all successful women who have grown their own businesses from the beginning. It is an opportunity for bonding with other like-minded individuals while we learn.
