Did you know that you can enjoy a first class meal at Signatures Restaurant located inside the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville? You absolutely can! I was joined by Lena, Stephanie and Andrea representing our FamilyTravelCA group, and we were treated to one of the most artistic and delicious meals ever, courtesy of Signatures and Chef Andrew.
One of the appetizers created for us by Chef Andrew was Signatures Radish Salad. It’s almost too pretty to eat, but I did and it was divine.
The Fresh Watermelon and Beet Salad was a special treat. I would never have thought to combine the two, but I intend to try and make it myself (although with much less flare) now that I have had the chance to enjoy it.
I didn’t try the Signatures Foie Gras shown below, but judging by the sounds at the table, it was a huge hit as well. It was certainly another work of art.
Instead I opted for the mushroom soup.
The highlight of meal was without a doubt the Signatures Steak. I love my steak, but this one took steak to a whole new level. Every bite melted in my mouth. Just thinking about it makes me want to book a reservation immediately.
The meal was finished off with this Maple Pecan Tart with Bailey’s Coffee Ice Cream. To. Die. For.
Chef Andrew visited us throughout the night and explained how guests with special dietary requests can always ask to speak with him and he will do his best to meet their needs. That’s great news for all of the vegetarians out there!
If you are in the area or staying at the Intercontinental Toronto Yorkville., be sure to stop in at the Signatures Restaurant and say hello to Chef Andrew while you’re there!
